The ideal consumption of protein is about 150 grams per day, provided to vary the sources: red meat, white meat, fish, eggs, ham, but also pulses and cereals.
2.Carbohydrates fuel the brain vital, are our main source of energy. Every day we consume carbohydrates (rice, pasta, starches, cereals, wholemeal bread is preferred). The simple sugars like candy, jams, etc., are not essential. They are stored as fat.

Numerous scientific studies show that a healthy and controlled diet helps prevent diseases such as obesity, diabetes or arteriosclerosis. Also, eating less is the best way to lose weight, in fact, remains calorie diet, in general, a favorite of doctors and specialists at the time to put a lid on extra kilos. New studies not only confirm its effectiveness, but rejuvenating effects attributed to our body.

The University of Washington (USA) and the Higher Institute of Health in Rome (Italy) recently published a study that concluded that eating fewer calories affects heart function better. Tests showed that the heart of persons subjected to a hypocaloric diet, compared with other eating normally worked 15 years as having less, being more elastic and youthful.

In fact, the type of power that were submitted have enough points in common with the acclaimed Mediterranean diet, which could partly explain the good results obtained. That is, its low-calorie diet consisted not only in quantity (between 1,400 and 2,000 calories), but also in quality means plants (fruits, vegetables, grains and legumes) were the main product, followed by fish and unsaturated fats like olive oil while they were confined dairy and meat and refined foods were removed and processed
